Fellas..this may or may not work.
Here(hopefully)are pictures of my 1903 Springfield..Roland Beaver rebuilt..and her 100yd three shot group.

This rifle will shoot.
This target is ON my 2nd trip to the range.
On my 1st trip..she printed a 3 shot group of 1.3"

The groups started tighting up when I flipped up the sight and started using the peep.

Looks good.
That reminded me to E-mail him and tell him that I want a stock without the pistol grip. I believe your's is called an A1 ?

444....the stock he put on my rifle is the type-C stock.

And....you will not be sorry about having him work on your '03.

God, my memory is awful. It hasn't been more than a month or two ago when all I talked about was 1903 rifles and now a couple months later I coudln't remember C-Stock. :banghead:

Yeah, I am sure I won't be disappointed. I have heard of him before. In fact he was recommeded to me by a friend long before I read your thread, but he was recommened to me as an M1 'smith and I didn't realize he also did work on 1903s.
If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take to get your rifle back. He told me that he probably wouldn't get around to it before next spring. I am in no real hurry, but that is a long time.

Well...since you asked,he told me turn around on non-routine jobs like the 1903 would be around a year.Very busy man.
I sent my 03 in... Jan,2003. Roland had some terrible luck in the spring of that year.He got hit with a flood.But he told me,he did not lose anything in his gunshop and he could not honestly give me a accurate date on completion..because of that.I am sure it set him back.I got my 03 in July of this year.

Patience is Golden!!
