Maybe Seling a used Leupold?

I want to sell my used Leupold scope; I used it on one hunting trip for elk. Although I am still a gun enthusiast, I decided hunting was not my deal.

This scope has been sitting on my rifle in the safe since then (maybe 3 years). I don't shoot the rifle at the range cause it is a .300 WSM and the max range yardage is 100 so I am going to get rid of this and get something else.

The scope is a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm Long Range. I am selling it without the rings. What kind of used price is good for one of these?

And, the big question- I don't have the original packaging, so how do you ship these things safely?

50$ and shipping to anyone with the username metalart! Should be fine if you wrap it securely in bubblewrap and ship it in a box that does not allow it to shift around. Selling it to anyone else however, going by ebay prices, maybe around $400ish

Look on Evilbay closed auctions to find out what they are selling for.

Bubble wrap & a stiff box with plenty of clearance on the ends is better packaging then Leupold ships them in.
