I hold the First Amendment as dear as all the rest so If MD Gun owners wish to discuss this rift in a forum that will not be shut down as long as we don't resort to personal attacks feel free to join me. I have been in contact with Jim most of the day and I have heard his side of it and he seems to be committed to resolving the rift. This is not about the High Road or any personalities on the forum. This is about our gun rights AND HOW BEST TO PROTECT THEM. As a Maryland gun owner it distresses me to see this he said she said going on as a resident of Maryland I have a greater interest than our moderators in this issue. I would hope other Maryland gun owners feel the same way.

Don't bother to respond here since the first thread was shut down.

I'm going to respond anyway.

I go to UMD, and I can readily meet Jim Purtilo if needed. I was planning on going over there anyway to get his support for something I was doing on campus (changing the Code of Student Conduct to allow lawful possession, storage, and use of weapons), so I figured I would ask him about this.

By all means. I have a lot of e-mails to sort through but I would encourage all trip-wire and MSI members eo encourage their leadership to resolve this. I was informed MSI has no leaders so that presents a problem I guess.
