Oh woe is me. They don't have anyone RSVP-ing to the Meetup.com guncontrol meetings so they canceling my email updates. I'm so sad:

Because no members in your area have RSVPed for an event in
several months, we will no longer automatically schedule Meetups.

So where does that leave you?

1. Now you can start a new Gun Control Meetup Group. As
Organizer, you can say exactly where and when you'd like to
meet, and Meetup.com will no longer cancel events when your
group is small.

2. We'll let you know if someone else starts a Gun Control

For heaven's sake, sieze the opportunity! Start your own gun control meeting, and bombard the members with the truth, instead of the lies spread by the anti-gunners. You could convert your whole county if you try hard enough!
 
I'm one of 3 people in SF on the Million Mom March's meetup.com group. We haven't had a successful meeting in... well... never :)
 
Strangest thing,,, I am in central Kansas, and they told me there were only three here too. Mine also has been cancelled. Maybe I should drop them a short note, and tell them that I want to be a part of the main stream, and since no one wants to join them we should start a gun lovers meeting?

Darn,,, I really wanted to go to one of the meetings, and see what kind of people they would be, and maybe convert a few.
