Just sold a bunch of guns and bought a Merkel K3 Stutzen in 7mm-08. talk about sweet! Two piece front stock, goes full out to the end. This is the single shot, crack down rifle with the Swarovski scope. What a beautiful rifle. Hadn't shot it yet. Billy

Then we can ooh and aaah, or tell you how ugly your new gun is. I don't recall ever seeing one, so until you show me, it doesn't exist.

no the merkels are cool; i saw a drilling from them but was over 5k...

The K3 pictured on their site was very impressive. Five and a half pounds? Sounds like a sweet boomstick!

Do get some other pix. Merkels are finely crafted firearms that usually cost only slightly less than a first wife.

Beautiful rifle!

Iv always wanted a BRNO Effect with the full length stock, but was loath to pay $1,300... I cant imagine what the Merkel equivalent cost you.

I get it now. A "crack down rifle" is a break-action. Had me scratching my head there, for awhile.
