Go to Goodwill and buy a small bag of worn out golf clubs. Tell her you've taken up golf at the public range with the boss.

Get some covers for the woods and use one of them on the gun. If you get caught, tell her you didn't want the neighbors to know about the gun.

I used my old reliable trick. I walk out with a handful of rifles and say I'm going to the range. I leave with four, I return with five.

I take a gun out of the house with me, tell the wife I'm gonna trade buy another and drive around until she ain't home and pack both in

just to clarify which 7.62 (39 or 51). I just wait till she is not home and put it in the safe. Then when she is home tell her I have to "clean" the gun I took to the range the other day. No problem. Funny thing is she seems to have to clean a lot of jewelry I don't recall her having

I call a 7.62x51 a 308. I Thought about getting that, but decided on the 7.62x39 commie round.
