Its that time of the year again and 2006 is nearly over. It been a good hunting season so far. Not that i have shot a lot. Was over in England in July for the Game Fair and shot a little roe buck while out hunting with one of my mates. First deer I've shot useing a rifle with a silencer on it. October i was over in Scotland hunting with an old mate of mine after Sika deer. The weather was bloody awfull. It rained ,rained blew a gail and rained some more. Won't even go into the storm with trees over the road, no electric and cut off by the river flooding. The joys of hunting in Scotland.
Back home here in Sweden Shot a roe buck on the second day of the season.
There have been a lot of black grouse about this year and have been working the Cocker spaniel on those for training and have been working him on a pheasant shoot. Something i and the dog really enjoy.
Bought a Taxen "Dachshund" earlier in the year for roe deer hunting and have been training him on hot scent. He shows a lot of promise and is a very funny little dog. I can see i will have a lot of fun hunting with him next year. The moose hunting looked promising before the seasons start. Come the season i think the have all gone on holiday as the hunting team has only shot a calf so far and the season for adults is over.
So all in all ett jävla bra season.
This winter has been warm and wet. Only a couple of day below freezing. It should be well below freezing now.
