anyone have any knowledge on useing a metal dectector to find metal pipes? need to find water and gas pipes that run in yard and through field. these are about 3-4" deep and have been down for 20+ years,so no one remembers where they ran. wanting to tap in to extend run.
have seen detectors at wally world from $100.00-500.00 any suggestions as to which price range? im' in s/e georgia,so ground is sand,clay, and this is at a working farm area,so no tell what else is down there.
