They should preface that with "Unlike in Mexico,"

Since the Mexican Consulate is de facto Mexican territory, why not make anyone exiting the consulate subject to an inspection prior to (re)entering the United States?

i pay the americans substantially more, but it is WORTH it. not for the work they do, but for the US in general

Wow. Now, I know you've got the best of intentions here -- but that's discrimination. How, precisely, are you able to determine if a homeless person is a legal worker w/out documentation? It seems that the only criteria you're using is skin color.

What happens when we try and levy $10 fines for a single infraction? Nobody will hire a Mexican that looks fishy. Oh sure, he might have a social security card, birth certificate, etc -- but he's Mexican with a strong accent. Do you hire him and risk the fine or risk a discrimination suit from a bona fide American citizen?

Now, hiring somebody that doesn't have a SCRAP of documentation... that's different.

even way up here, thousands of miles from the mexico border, our immigration officers encounter quite a few illegal mexican immigrants. by the time they get up here they have forged paperwork.

we should start dumping mexican illegals into canada. forget killing them or sending the back to mexico. ship em to the north.
