I see that Cabela's has this brand in stock, selling .38 Special 158 gr FMJ 50 packs for $11.99, which in today's insane world is deemed very low cost.
Most reviews of MFS were VERY negative, though it get's 3 out of 5 stars overall.
One problem in trying to determine how horrid this ammo might be is that most who reviewed it stated they were using 9mm, .45 ACP, or .380 -- all semi-auto calibers. I wasn't able to find a single review by anyone who had used it in a revolver (yes, I know in very limited cases both 9mm & .45ACP -- using moon clip-- are fired from revolvers).
Has anybody here ever used MFS ammo in a revolver and what was your experience?
Seems revolvers would be less picky in at least they won't have any failure to feed problem as mentioned in many reviews. Failure to fire, well, that's still an issue with revolvers, but given how heavy the trigger pull is on my two guns the springs seem quite firm & I suspect the hammer gives a good hard smack.
