Hey everyone!

Tomorrow is the big Fall machine gun shoot at a private range I belong to. I am so anxious I can't even go to sleep. All of my gear is packed and ready to go, now I am just watching the clock.

This is an extra special one for me as in just four short weeks I will be away from home for the next 8 months courtesy of the USAF. And I was really hoping to be home for Christmas when Santa brought me that Glock 29! Ahh well.

This particular shoot is going to be a crazy, melt the barrels, burn all the ammo ASAP, banzai run for me!

Here is a shot of some of my goodies.

From top to bottom-

M1 Garand Yes, I know it is not an MG, but it is too much fun to leave at home.

H&R Reising Model 50 Absolutely NOT the jammo-matic POS they are cracked up to be. They just need a bit of tweaking before they are a reliable, and fun, bullet hose!

Registered Reciever M16. By far the most fun firearm I have ever owned!

Mags, ammo, Sig P226 The ammo will hopefully be all shot up by about 1:00 EST, the Sig is my insurance policy guarding against unsavory characters on the way to the shoot. :)

Not pictured, all the tools and equipment I am bringing along. As well as my video camera. I attend these shoots three times a year but rarely take the time to get any video. I'll try to get some tomorrow and upload it.

Just wanted to share my excitement as it is my last MG shoot until next Summer, it better rock!

Where abouts in Maine, brother? My folks live down in Springvale, and my son lives in Lebanon.

Oh, and, can a brother get an invite to the next summer shoot? Especially if that brother is a Type 07 FFL / Class 2 SOT, with several posties and a bunch of suppressed goodness?

damn, 960 rounds of .223! :O

You are going to have a fun time, I know I sure as hell would :D
Every time I look at an AR in a picture online I always look for the fabled 'sear pin' above the fire selector :D
NICE

you should get some video for us all

Here's one of my M-16's, with Miss Kit modeling:
