Steve Fisher, along with our Jackson Chapter, will be putting on a 4 hour basic pistol class July 23rd at Jackson County Outdoor Club, Jackson Michigan. The class will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

This will be a tier two class that will cover basics such as proper draw stroke to ensure maximum speed to target, trigger manipulation and basic tactics. It will build your confidence and ability to carry a concealed weapon. Prerequisite is CPL training or marksmanship certification.

Cost is $50.00 and proceeds will benefit the families of the recently deployed National Guard unit in Jackson.

There is a limited number of seats and first preference is given to SAFR members.

Email Steve at kayufish (at) aol.com, or info (at) firearmsalliance.org.

years ago...

o.k. ... it was many years ago....

I took a hunting safety class and shot some clays at your club.

That was my first firearms training of any kind and I'm thankful for the good foundation and proper attitude and respect that was instilled in me there.

I was, too! And 3 or 4 others.

I could have done without the wasps stings on my tushy, though.

If I had known...well, I can't go any further here, I'd get banned for sure.

My thumb still hurts though. That just plain sucks. No, I'm not sucking my thumb either. ;)
