Miami Trail Glades range construction

Does anyone know ,how is the construction going ? I can't find much info besides of what should have been done so far

There's a thread over on Florida Shooter's Network that discusses the progress, along with links to the county's website with photos. Some members have even taken their own photos. Everyone is eager to start using the new range. The (revised) opening date is December 22 for now. In the meantime, they opened a temporary pistol range.

Thanks a whole bunch. I'm heading to Miami in a week or so and wanted to see if it's worth to drag some guns with me..
Dr. Google has failed to take me to the first link you provided and the second one doesn't really give much of a solid info on the reopening date...

No problem. Just FYI, the temporary range is pistol only. Also, they still have their skeet and trap fields open.

The pistol side sucks IMO so I only go to rifle side. Shooting one bullseye for 15 minutes is not really how I want to spend my range time...
I may just go to Markham for now... I never believed in 2 month construction time anyway....

I grew up in Miami and started shooting at Trail Glades in 1968.

I haven't been back in years but just seeing the name in print brought back many wonderful memories.
