Miami Vice - Crocket's AK...What Type?

Hello Everyone,

Did anyone notice what type of AK Crocket was toting in the recent "Miami Vice" movie?

My money is on a Krebb's custom rifle.

It looked like an FNC to me at first, but then I noticed the gas tube was different. I'm lost.

Not a SIG

I really don't think it is any derivative of the SIG 550 series.

I've seen the film twice and have tried to look carefully at the rifle. The magazines are not clear plastic I can tell you that. Plus the folding stock did not strike me as a SIG either.

I went to the Miami Vice website and compared some stills with the outline of the rifle visible.

MK11 is right.

Now I can go back and watch the movie for a third time to see the real star of the show...the SIG 552 while I wait for my SIG 556 to arrive.
