One of my primary insights regarding conditions and the war in Iraq, is the blog of Michael Yon.
My impression of him is that he knows what he's writing about, is prepared to look at things first hand,, and is not afraid to tell the truth as he sees it.
Having said that - I don't have a really good standard against which to measure his work. Are any of you in a position to comment on his reliability?
