I heard something on the radio from Michigan's two senators on the way to work this AM. They are both left wing Dems who have been holding up federal judge appointments as well as other presidential appointments.
They have been getting flack for this. The whiny advertisement I heard today alluded to their obstructionism by defending it saying we "need fair and unbiased" judges appointed to the bench. They say the "only way" to do this is to have a "bibartisan committee" put up judges for appointment.
Excuse me, I don't have my copy of the Constitution with me at work, but isn't appointing federal judges a Constitutional activity of the President?
