Anyway. I just saw a milled bulgarian (polish AKMS type stock) underfolder in the most recent shotgun news that came in today. Its the first milled underfolder in 7.62x39 that i have seen in mass production. I wonder how tightly that stock locks up vs. the yugos. People do complain about the wobble and i have heard it blamed on the stamped rec's
Arsenal makes it. Ill find the promo and get the exact designation and price and all sometime tonight if you want. It sure did look sharp though. Only other folders ive seen Arsenal make are the sidefolders. A milled PKMS pattern 7.62x39 underfolder is kind of a rare bird in the mass production AK clone world. Thats why it cought my eye.

Those of you with milled receiver AKs (AKMs, Kalashnikovs, whatever!), what kind of accuracy are you getting out of them? Are they scoped? How do they compare with any stamped rifles you have?
You seem to be suggesting that your VEPR and SLR95 have milled receivers. The SLR95 does, but the VEPR does not. The VEPR uses a stamped receiver. While the VEPR is heavier than other stamped AK's, that's because it uses a much heavier gauge of steel (1.5 mm, IIRC) and is in fact based on the RPK light machine gun rather than the AK-47. So the VEPR is heavier and probably stiffer than a standard stamped AK, but it's not a milled receiver.geojap said:My stamped receiver Saiga is a nice rifle. It is obviously lighter than my two milled receiver AKs.
