In early July, 2006, I ordered a Milt Sparks #1 Heritage IWB holster for my Kahr P9. In mid-December I received a call from Milt Sparks to alert me that I would see the charge for it on my December credit card statement but that they were going to be a little late with shipping it. They had found a small flaw during final inspection and decided to make a new holster from scratch rather than trying to fix the flawed one.

I received the holster during the first week of January. The fit and finish are exceptional. My P9 fits into it like a glove. Not too loose, not to tight. The gun is held firmly in place, but a good pull and it comes right out. The metal reinforced mouth stays open even with a tight belt. Sight rails are stiched inside the holster and the backside of the holster fully covers the slide. The interior of the holster has indentions molded in that match perfectly with the slide release lever and other bumps on the gun. Even the slide serrations are molded into the backside of the holster. It's a bit thicker and heavier than my old Kydex IWB holster, but it's much more comfortable to wear.

The only cons I've found are the price ($100+) and the 24 week wait. Other than that, it's excellent.
