Would anyone know if Miltech arms in Cupertino, CA is still in business? I have an order in with them and have been waiting 11 months for it. Many excuses have been received, but no rifles.

Hello Road King,

I too have been waiting 11 months for an M1 Carbine. I have been in touch with the owner and he assures me the rifle will ship by the end of this month.

We spoke 2-3 times in the last three months and the last time we set a FIRM ship date. Basically, ship or refund !

I think it is a good idea to keep this dialog in this forum going until we see if there is a problem with MILTECH. Not only for you and I, but anyone else thinking of using MILTECH as a source for a new rifle or parts. Probably a good thing to know if your rifle is going to take a year to complete and ship.

I will let everyone know soon, the outcome.

PS - The MILTECH web site is still up and working and I have spoken by phone to several people there, including the owner.

Regards Lj

Little Joe,
One of my rifles is supposed to be finished and was to have shipped after Christmas; I am still waiting. I too have spoken to the owner recently and was told of illness in the shop and the very recent passing of his mother-in-law. We shall see what happens.

My M1 carbine arrived today and is first class. Can't wait to see the 03 and Garand.

I too, received my MilTechArms M1 Carbine several months ago and it is as MRoadKing says "First Class".

I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials.

I have also had the opportunity to shoot out to 100 yds or so and it is very accurate.
