Mini-14 40-round mags. Are these any good?

I bought a used Mini-14 today, and it came with four 40 round mags that I don't recognize. The mags all look exactly alike, but two of them are stamped on the bottom "PRECISION MAG INDUSTRIES .223/5.56mm". Are these anything special?

For what it's worth, the rifle is a 182 series, looks like brand new, and has the Ruger factory folding stock on it. I picked it up for $600. It also included a Ruger factory 20-round mag, and a padded nylon carrying case by Shooting Systems.

They are generally decent. Much better than "USA" brand or "Western Metal Products", both of which should have been ran out of business.

I prefer factory mags for the Mini-14, and don't have much confidence in any mags that hold > 20 rounds.

However, you've already got them, so try 'em and make your own judgment as to how well they perform. The proof of the pudding is in the eating!

I have a number of PMI 20s and 30s. They are as good as the Ruger factory mags that I have.
