Minimum OAL length for .308? Best powder for 110 gr bullets?

Recently bought some hornady VMAX 110gr and 150gr FMJ bullets. I seat to the cannelure, which usually gives me 2.74 in OAL in my Hornady interlock hunting loads. But these newer loads have an OAL of 2.69 in. Is this too short?
I'm also using 46.7 gr of H4895 in the 110 gr loads, would a different powder work better for these lighter bullets?

always liked 50.0 gr bl(c)-2 with 110s pretty warm so start low.
