Found an old Mod 10 3 inch heavy bbl, round butt. It's NEW and unfired in the blue box.Does not have the pinned bbl. We're negotiating price.
What is the piece really worth or what is the most you'd pay? Will probably keep it unfired for now.
    Blued.

The Blue Book says $400. Because it's a three incher, I would add at least another hundred to that, although the Blue Book doesn't mention that. These were nice guns, though, and the price is sure to go up. Smith and Wesson just isn't making guns like that anymore.

Just paid a little over two bills for a pristine 10-9. However, I can see a NB M10 with a three-inch barrel easilly fetching more than $300. Great gun!

Gentlemen, thanks for the speedy replies.I agree, there just doesn't seem to be any of these floating around. This belonged to a deceased State Trooper who just collected some.Several unfired, but this is the one I'm interested in.
I'll turn my back to her when I hand her the $250.00.That's the price she seems to be stuck on.I believe I'll get the best end of the deal in the long run.
    Many thanks.
