Maybe I'm losing my touch.
Don't know why, but my measure was throwing charges of 296 with pretty wide variations.
Several would be spot on, the next one would be far too heavy, the one after that would be far too light.
I ended up weighing every charge.
Then I was loading 125-gr. JHPs that came from I believe Georgia Arms, but were bought in bulk bags of 100 at a gunshow.
Great, until I noticed variations in seating depth of the bullets.
The damned bullets are from at least two, possibly three, different manufacturers! The profiles and amount of exposed lead are quite different. What in the hell?
Then, I started having problems with getting the right neck tension in some of the cases.
I'll be surprised if this load of ammo doesn't blow my gun AND me to hell and back.
