Placed an order to Missouri bullets last Friday night. Today the mail lady delivered them to my door. Ordered 500 count of 40 cal. , 140 grain lead bullets. Using bulleye powder . Have the Lee , Speer and Lyman manual , can not find load data for this bullet. Went to the Alliant site , no luck there either. Need help for a good , safe load for this bullet. Usually load plated but wanted to try lead.

Went to that site. The closest I found was a load for 155 gr. lead bullet , using 4.9 grains of bullseye .Nothing on the 140 gr. Missouri lead bullet in 40 cal.using bullseye .Keep hoping RCmodel will get in on this. He has helped me a lot in the past !

Let me know how this works out for you, next bullet order is coming from there. They look like good bullets.

Rats! There's always a catch.

We have a cave here -- Blanchard Springs Cavern -- that is one of the largest caves in the country. We like to take visitors there. The Forest Service runs the cave and their policy is Purple Heart holders get in free. They even issue a special Purple Heart ID, so you can go as many times as you like.

I went down with the orders for both my Purple Hearts and asked if I could get an ID for my wife, but they said no.
