So my LGS has one for $150, but it is missing the magazine. I see the mags are about the same price online as the gun ($150-180!).
I am contemplating buying it and fabricating a mag, which I feel perfectly confident about, but my question is whether I should bother.
The gun in question is the Italian-produced Mitchell/Adler/Armi-jaeger AP-80 type, not the later Phillipines-made Armscorp AK-22. It seems well built.....
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these? Are they decent feeders with the factory mags, or am I wasting my time on a self-destructing jam-o-matic?
