Mixing Camo Patterns?

I wear my old woodland BDU's for most of my camo needs. But with the blaze orange requirements of deer season, I'm usually wearing insulated bib overalls in blaze, my BDU goretex jacket with blaze vest, and a hat of some variety or other, reversable blaze. I swear, if the sun is shining right, I can be seen from space.

Just paint some shiney yellow apples on them and it'll be fine. Or do as I do and spray your pardner with doe pee and set up where you can protect him but dont be too obvious they catch on kinda quick.

on sale ridiculously cheap.

That should leave you enough money to pay the tickets the fashion police will write you :D.

I generally hunt wearing blaze orange (where required) or good jeans, boots and a long sleeved flannel or jacket.

I wear camo when bow hunting. Dont really know if it helps or not but i guess i wont take the chance. As to matching. dont you know that if you dont go out with matching close deers with good taste wont come in and i dont want deer that taste bad!

I always coordinate patterns.

Dunno about the camo aspect, but the cab of that loader's a good deer blind. A grader-operator friend of mine always carried his rifle during deer season. He never did figure out why deer weren't afraid of the grader, but it made for some good eats.

I've had groups of javelina wander casually past me, maybe thirty yards away, when I was working my backhoe...

Thanks guys!

Didn't anybody ever tell the deer it isn't smart to laugh at the guy with the gun?

Trouble with that "wheel camo" is that if he moves, a prison guard will shoot him. :D

After a couple of dozen years working backhoe, there are some places you'd never, ever get me to stand. :)

No. Most camo is a waste of money.

Agree!

Ducks and turkey demand good camo.

I don't hunt turkeys so can't say but ducks do not demand camo. Brown, khaki, olive and gray work just fine. The most important things are, be still, don't look right up at 'em and positioning of decoy landing zone, in relation to your cover.
