MMC sights?

I like the sight picture they offer, the variety of colors, adjustability & simplicity in using them...

I like the MMC tritium sights.
I have the adjustable versions on two Glocks and a Smith and Wesson 1911.

I have a set on my P7M13. Very solid rear sight design. I have the ones with tritium insert in the front but they were made by PT sights and have dimmed considerably (PT has this problem).

i had the pt sight on a glock 22. it had a nice picture and i liked the color option. however, it was the fixed model and the front sight was way too tall. i asked if i received the wrong one, but they said that was it. I sold the glock anyway, so never tried to change it out.

MMC sights were installed by Virgil Tripp when my gun was sent for plating.

The sights were OK, but they were very dim when I received them brand new. The lack of brightness on a new product was a real disappointment.

It was too much trouble to correct the problem.

I would never get them again.

Yeah, I suppose if you need your sights to shine like a 60 watt light bulb these aren't going to be the sights for you.
I like dimmer night sites because they won't spot you out if somebody gets behind you.

I had a set custom mounted on a Makarov:

The sights & install cost more that the gun! (This is one of the $125 Bulgarian Milsurps that was circulating a few years back).

I'd buy them again - & I probably will.

Looks good Kevinch!

The Makarov is one of the platforms I was considering for the MMC sights, along with the SiG P232.

Good to know they will fit the Mak.
Thanks!

MMC Sights

A Short Story about my experience with MMC Sights - I received a phone call on Tuesday morning the 26th of May 09 from Mike Lucas of the Springfield Armory Custom Shop. They are in the process of Converting my Springfield Custom Racegun from 9x25 Dillion to a .45 ACP carry gun. Mike said that they purchased the MMC sights I requested (U-shaped tritium rear with a front dot). The box they received was marked correctly, but inside were a two dash rear with a one dash front. He added that Brownells said they would not be able to ship replacements until July. He said he could not get in contact with MMC sights. So I told him I'd try.
After discovering half the numbers on the website didn't work, I made contact with a Courtney. I told here my situation, and she said they could ship them out today ... for few extra costs. I said O K, and it was done or so I thought.
On the evening of the 27th I emailed Dave Williams of the Custom Shop and he says he hasn't seen them in an email back to me on the 28th. So I call Courtney, and no one answers the phone ande I leave a message. I do it again a few hours later. Finally, after calling eight times I get someone to answer the phone ... it's Courtney. I ask her if it has shipped , and she say yes. I say O K what's the tracking number. After a very long delay she gives me one, and while she's on the phone I type it in, and it comes back Invalid tracking number. She puts me on hold and while I'm waiting I see on the ups site that they have just initiated a FEDEX label. O K I realize now they haven't shipped it but they are going to that day ... or so I thought.
She comes back and says that she doesn't know what happened but it was delivered to FEDEX, (she doesn't know that I know they just initiated a label, and the package has not been delivered to FEDEX). I ask her to insure that if it has not been sent out, that it will be sent out today. She says she will.
Next day I check the tracking number and find out that the package still has not been delivered to FEDEX. I call again to day on the 29th and she says she doesn't know why, but she'll ensure it gets out today.
So there we have it. They may make a good sight, but my youngest child's lemonade stand was run better. They are far from being a professional business in my opinion. When this is over, I'll never do business with them again!

like others have said, i like the color options and they are built very well, however they are not bright at all. i have blue rear and green front. The green is much brighter than the blue, but they cannot compare to Trijicon. I would never buy them again, just because they are not bright!
