not really sure if this is the right place to post this question or not but can any body give me a simple way to figure out MOA
 
That's an inch at 100 yards I think,might be meters,but I'm pretty sure it's yards..
 
As Loggerlee said, 1 inch per 100 yards is a very good approximation. 2 inches at 200 yards, 3 inches at 300 yards, etc.

To be ultra-precise, it is 1.0471996 inches per 100 yards.

In other fields, one minute of angle is more commonly called an arcminute. It's equal to 1/60th of a degree.
 
What are you trying to figure out? The definition of "MOA" is relatively simple, but sometimes things get tangled when we try to calculate MOA in a particular application...
