Model 1895 Winchester When Was It Made?

Howdy all..

I just picked up a Win. 1895 30-40 saddle ring and wanted to know about when it was made. S/N 57XXX

I would appreciate any info. at all on the rifle.... Thanks in advace....

The year 1908 started with serial number 57352, so it depends on what those X's are.

How about an 1895 SRC in 30-40 with a SN of 853xx?

Craig, my information shows it was made sometime in 1897.
