if i were to come across a original model 21 44 special what would i be expected to pay?and no i havent found one just wondering.

Depending on the vintage and condition it could run several thousand dolllars. For one in decent condition $1500 wouldn't be a bad starting point.

I would say $2,000 for the gun and add $500-$1,000 if in the original box. Double that if actually marked Model 21 as very few model marked guns were produced.

I bought a 4" made in for $130 about three years ago at a gun show. It was made in 1932. It is in very good shooting condition but was reblued at one time. I have taken it deer hunting a few times but have not shot anything with it yet. I don't use it for a CCW carry gun because it dosen't have a safety transfer bar in it.

Right place, right time!:D
