Model 620 and Moon Clips

Merry Christmas to you all!

My lovely wife bought me a S & W Model 620 357 Magnum with a 4" barrel for Christmas. Wow! I am blessed and can't wait to take it to the range tomorrow.

My question is- can I use moon clips for reloading or does the cylinder need to be modified so there is room for it?

The cylinder on a stadard 620 would need to be machined to provide the clearance.

You can get speed loaders for it though at a nominal cost.

Congradulations on a great firearm, I really like my 4" 686. 4" L frames have great balance.

Now get some ammo, .38 specials and some magnums, and go out to the range.
