But why don't the teachers get off their dead arses and find out what's going on.
I know what is going on. They are getting drunk on weekends, smoking pot, smoking crack, and having lots of sex. I have to hear about it all the time. You see kids don't like being snitches and they don't like to talk about illegal activity that is going on campus to me. Imagine that. Everything off campus though, they love discussing it.

I don't mind teaching kids. Parenting is a different story. There are only so many roles I can fulfill as a teacher. You want me to teach to the standards, get the students to perform exceptionally on standardized tests, crack down on their illicit activities, write lessons that motivate them and get them to quit being lazy, grade all of these papers, attend teacher training, and coach a sport too. Not a problem. I will get right on it. Meanwhile, you parents don't worry about anything, I will raise your kids and I don't need to worry about my kids or my personal life. I live to pull your kid out of the gutter and to get their life straightened out because you can't. That is what teaching is all about.

Here's a one question multiple-choice exam:

quote:

"It's not that we feel there are any problems here," said Principal Glenn White. "It's a proactive move for getting information that will help deter any sort of illegal activity."

This bird's mama had an affair with:

a. Hitler.
b. Stalin.
c. Lenin.
d. Saddam.
e. Arrafat.
f. Bill Clinton
g. Chap-Of-Quick-Dick Teddy.
h. All the above.

I remember our teachers back in the dark ages--dark ages?? er, ah,...enlightenment...who told us how bad the Soviet Union was because they encouraged kids to inform on their parents and friends. Now it is school policy.

Yes, we want to prevent crime in schools and everywhere else. It would be great if we could prevent crime in prisons, but we don't have much luck. But there is something creepy about subverting the souls of children and causing them to hate and suspect each other, possibly for a lifetime, for the sake of protecting children.

The attrocities that government inflict on people in the name of safety is staggering and if you point this out or protest, you are said to be pro-[unsafe activity of your choice]. There are poor souls out there who will read this thread and conclude that we are all for drugs and theft and violence in high-schools.

This is just one more nail in the coffin of liberty.
