I'm wanting to replace the factory stock on a Model Seven 7mm-08 stainless steel. Are the Bell & Carlson Carbelite stocke any good? Do they sound hollow? Are the heavy or light weight?[can't find specs]Are the stiff? Do they improve accuracy? Do you have to bed them?
thanks

I have a H-S Precision on my Seven

I like that stock a lot, but it is expensive.

I have had good luck with the B/C stocks though. I have not had one that sounded hollow or cheap like some of the other stocks out there.

I think that most of the B/C stocks don't need to be bedded, but that is a personal decision that folks make after they have shot them a bit.

Good Luck and let us know how it works out.

Thanks,

Matt

BC Carbelite stocks are excellent.

Do they sound hollow, not like some, but they don't sound like knocking on wood.

Relatively light weight, they are stiff, improve accuracy... yes.

Do you need to bed them... that's up to you, but the majority of people do not bed if using these stocks.

Is your model 7 a magnum or standard caliber?

:D
