MOLOT SKS scope mount

I am considering getting a MOLOT scope mount for my norinco sks. I have not been able to find any info about them anywhere on the web and a search on this site turned up nothing. If you have one could you be kind enough to post pics of where it is installed? Also I emailed kalinka and he said in order for me to use my PSL scope on the mount, I would have to devise a 'stop'?

The only problem I have with the scope mount you picked is it requires drilling.

It appears to be a very secure mount. I say "appears" because I never even sighted it in. What I didn't like about it was I could no longer use stripper clips.

If you happen to choose this mount, lmk. I could probably be coerced into selling it.

I am pretty stuck on the MOLOT, I am okay with drilling it. The MOLOT keeps me from cutting the wood, which I don't want to do, I can always ignore the holes or cover em up.

Since you must D&T your rifle, the mount should be rock solid and thus a decent platform for a scope. If on the off chance you decide not to go the scope route check out http://www.tech-sights.com/ I have them on my norinco and couldnt be happier.

I have been looking at a Molot rail for some time for my Yugo 59/66. Its seems very easy to install, and puts the posp right where you want it height wise. The rail sits parallel to the top edge of the receiver, resting on the stock top edge.

In the email from kalinka, he says that the MOLOT mount can be used on mausers and mosin nagants, anyone able to confirm?
