Moly coated bullets in Semi-autos

I have a friend who has been having major jamming in his BAR 300mag. He's had it worked over by a gunsmith, and it continues to jam. Wondering if the moly coated bullets he has been using can cause this kind of problem in his semi auto. Any experiences or comments?

The short answer is no.

Sounds like it needs a set of replacement springs to get the timing/cycling back working correctly. Convenience does have it's costs, especially in the big magnum blitzenboomers.
