So, I'm watching a re-run of Monster Garage. Love that show by the way.
It's the Mazda RX-7 sand rail build. Whole thing went bad and the car ended up failing.
As you watchers of the show know, when a build fails, that car gets destroyed. In this case they had a Dillon mini-gun do the work.
This is the one that's is mounted on top of a suburban SUV.

Last time I saw this episode, Jesse James was shooting the RX-7 to pieces with tracers(in the desert). Lot's of fun.
But this time as a re-run, they edited that part out! What the hell!?
I have a bad feeling some anti got behind this one and had the episode chopped. If so, probably some lame-o excuse like: "It's for the children" or some other. Anyone else notice this?
I do believe I'm going to send the show an e-mail and ask why.

Please let us know when you find out. I'm a big fan of that show and I missed that episode, though I've seen clips of the minigun on the internet somewhere. I'd be pretty pissed off if I can't even see it in the reruns.

I don't believe Jesse is/was a felon.
He's gotten into trouble when He was younger. Think He was a minor. If He was one, must've gotten His rights reinstated.
On the Cop car/Doughnut shop episode, He and the officers who were working on the build went to a local range.
At the range, Jesse brought His S&W revolver that was given to Him by one of the heads of the company. It was engraved with some type of message and came with a display case or some other. Was one of the titanium snub models.
His other pistol was a Desert Eagle, nickel finish. Think it was chambered in .44 mag. The cops all wanted to try that one.
:D

There is one episode that has some cops building a car and they all take a break and go to an indoor range to shoot pistols and Jesse brings a desert eagle.

Easy there, probly an honest mistake.

I have seen that episode, or at least the last part, on a couple of different ocasions that it was re-run. Maybe this time there were simply time issues?

There's a writeup in the current issues of Men's Fitness on him. Here's an excerpt:

MF: How good are you with a six shooter?
JJ: I'm better with an automatic than a revolver.

MF: You prefer an automatic?
JJ: Uh [he reaches into his desk drawer and pulls out two guns]-this is a pocket Mustang. That's for my front pocket. The HK .40 caliber goes in my back.

MF: When't the last time you shot those bad boys?
JJ: Last wek. We were out in the desert filming for Monster Garage and I got mad at the car and blasted a few holes in it. It cut the filming a bit short since there was gas leaking everywhere.

He's a very interesting guy.

Don't know when the re-run in discussion was, but within the last couple of months I know I saw a different episode that had a "flashback" to the whole mini-gun event.

Just remembered they were building the donut making machine car with the cops. cops+donuts. ha-ha

Often when a program is repeated often (syndication especially), it is cut down a minute or so to fit in more commericals. I don't know if that happened here since the original minigun segment was quite long.
