Has anyone used Montana Gold Bullets? I have never used them and since I have to buy 1000 of them I thought I would ask for some input first. I will be reloading 40 cal 165gr JHP. Just joined and have to say this site is one of the best.:)

I use their 9mm, 40s&w and 45's. All good. I do think the 40 or 10mm are just a little under .400 though. When trying to do RP's, I needed all the size i could get. The 10mm i got are about .001 or so smaller than xtp's and othere but are good bullets.

I agree with all about the MG jacketed bullets. Good bullets with more consistent lengths than others I've tried.

I load 124gr 9mm and the the JHPs are the most accurate of the three diffent MGs I've used.

I bought some of the 125gr 38 and they worked very well now I just need to find the proper load for them. Good quality as well

As was mentioned, I sell Montana Gold. If you don't want to buy 1000 to start out with I sell quantities of 250 and 500. For 1000 my prices usually beat the price that Montana Gold lists.

Thanks for all the good feedback guys!!!

I've been 100% satisfied with Montana Gold bullets for 9mm & 10mm. There are some YouTube video's that show they don't expand like XTP's or GD's, but they are very accurate when I've loaded them at mid+.

very happy with the following MG products:
9mm 115gr CMJ
40S&W 155gr JHP, 165gr CMJ
.357Sig 125gr FMJ

Great bullets. I've been using for years and just received another order a few weeks ago. I shoot .38/357, .357 Sig (MG makes the best bullet for this caliber), .40, .45 ACP, 44, and .45 LC. I like them all. Haven't tried the .223 though, maybe soon.

You won't go wrong.

+1 great results in .45acp
they were one of the few I had problems with when i posted about my gun spitting lead out of the ejection port :banghead:

they worked with no crimp and pressures to low dont know why just those and rainers worked
