Much to the chagrin of many folks, the 10mm has finally been recognized for what it is and can be. A really accurate, more powerful semi auto round that can reasonably be packaged into 1911 format.
Having been a 10mm fan for many many years, lots of folks have tried to dis it and kill it off, but its a good round that has made quite a come back over the last 5 years.
I think folks have basically recognized that it isn't 40S&W+P, but more like the 40 is the "Short and Weak" variety and the 10mm offers a whole lot more. Credit should probably go to Dan Wesson, Double Tap, Buffalo Bore and a few others for moving the 10mm back to main stream.
Long live the 10mm!
