girl caught by parents sneeking back into the house about 5:30am.
girl told boyfriend she got caught and parents wanted to see him.
boyfriend stuffed a glock into his pants, some other weapons and a hunting knife.
at 7 am, after a 30-45 min talk ended in an argument, boyfriend was told he could no longer see the girl. he then decided to kill her parents.
first, he shot the father in the back.
"i did not aim." i have a lot of shooting experience and i usually hit what i shoot at." the boyfriend said.
he then went into the living room and shot the mother from six feet away as she got out of her chair.
he left the house and started to drive away, but then turned back.
the girlfriend came running after him and got in the car.:what: :banghead:

I will definitely wait and hear more from/about the girl before I form an opinion. She was 14 and saw her parents get killed by the "man" I'm sure she thought she was in love with. For now, until I hear different from her, I will believe she did not have anything to do with planning or killing her parents.

He, of course, needs to be slowly roasted over an open fire.

Kids

If nothing else good comes from this, it's to serve as a reminder to never turn your back on anybody during or after a confrontation until you've confirmed that they've left the area. The clean-cut kid next door can kill you just as quick and just as dead as a strung-out crack addict.

These murders should not have happened even following an argument. The kid's mistake was stuffing the Glock in his pants before talking to the parents. Something wrong with that kid that he felt having a gun would produce a different result with regard to the daughter. It has been said that the boy had made comments about the parents to his friends. I will continue to believe that the daughter did know something about it and at least was an accessory, and could probably have stopped the incident. Why would she believe she could run away after the murder of her parents and start a new life? She should have seen the boy as EVIL if she had nothing to do with the crimes. The boy needs to be either executed or put away for life since he has admitted to the murders.

To me, that suggests premeditation, i.e. he walked into that house intending to shoot the parents if things didn't go his way, absent any indication that he routinely stole his dad's gun and CCW'd.

Premeditation

Have to agree with ben and rimfire. If he didn't actually go there with the intent, he at least had it as a "Plan B" if the parents issued a "Stay away from my Daughter" directive...which he also likely knew was coming.

Also hard to believe that a 14 year-old girl wouldn't have been so horrified by the murders that she would have even considered getting into a car with him if she hadn't been aware of his intent. Many teens under strict discipline and restrictions will SAY that they wish their parents dead without actually meaning it literally. I also predict that she'll turn state's evidence on him when the chips are down and she realizes exactly what she's facing. Will likely play the "So traumatized/Scared of being the next victim" card...undergo therapy to "deal with her trauma"...walk, and go on with what's left of her life.

This kids hormones in complete control of his feeble mind.

How many of you guys remember how retarded with "love" and lust you became with your first girlfriend?

Luckily the majority of us have a little safety mechanism in their brain that overrides the "killing obstacle to girlfriend" decision.

I can her it now. We need more laws to protect us. It should be illegal to stuff a handgun in our pants. We must use locking holsters.

The whole thing is sick. I was young and I lived through the loss of my first girlfriend, and my second, and my third…..and my twenty-fifth. (I wasn’t too lucky in love until I my second wife got me.) I too have had setbacks in life, lots of them but somewhere in my formative years I was taught self control and killing anyone has never even been something carried in the furthest corners of my mind.

Parents, turn off the TV, destroy and trash the violent games, quit allowing your kids to watch any movie rated PG or worse. Teach values in your home or prepare for the above.

Statutory Rape? Should have been handled by the Police. That's what 911 is for. Then they could have sued the parents for a bundle.

Sigh, always talk to a lawyer first.

Geoff
Who avoids confrontation. :banghead:

Now you must remember to do a pat down and search before any dates can come or go

This is sad , Im sure the kids past will tell you something

The 14 year old girl... I don't know, but I know her part of this story don't sound right.

The 18 year old "boy"/"man"/whatever... I know they're saying he confessed to two counts of 1st degree murder- the girl's parents- in which he reportedly used a Glock .40caliber. I know I heard one of Greta Van Susteren's legal panel members saying the fact that he carried a "Glock .40 showed intent to kill somebody" which we all know is hogwash. (I figure we all know the truth about that statement.)

Last week... Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo saying "he had 54 guns" and "there was a third co-conspirator". Forget the 54 guns, because 1) the 54 guns didn't do the killing, and 2) Judge Napolitano said "it's legal to have 54 guns" right there on O'Reilly's show. What I want to know more about is that third co-conspirator O'Reilly said "seems to be cooperating" with the cops. A lot of these idiots that shoot up a school or murder their girlfriend's parents or whatever... I bet most of 'em have a commie mindbender working on 'em- and they don't know it- as part of the plot to disarm this country.

I understand that video exists of the shooter and another teenager in the other guy's home, examining firearms and discussing shooting other people. I guess the "third co-conspirator" is that other teenager.

Hmmm ...

There can't be a third co-conspirator unless there is a second co-conspirator. Does this suggest that the little trollop is being treated as a suspect, or did this guy have more than one pal with whom he discussed shooting people?

anyone that doesn't belive this guy is nucking futs, has got to have his head examined..:barf:
it would be real interesting to go over his assessment at the questioning table..:what:
this is just the tip of the iceberg, if you will...
usually, kids like him are deep into anti-social behavior/activities...we're just getting a glimpse of an action where he happened to get caught.:D
i'm sure this isn't an isolated thing for him and quite possibly had co-conspirators too. it would'nt surprise me. :cuss:
today's kids..sheesh!!:scrutiny:

There are plenty more out there like him

I work on an Adolescent Psych Unit and I can tell you most of them are behavioral problems not Psych problems. Plenty of them have this sense of entitlement, are prone to violence when they don't get there way, and want what they want, when they want it and they want it NOW!
I have watched as budding sociopaths are given mental health diagnosis and treated as if they are truly sic for the sake of the money they briing in. Then they are released back out into society.
What's really fun is that they learn that when they get into trouble all they have to do is say they are depressed and are going to kill themselves. They get sent to our unit and all charges are dropped. Wonderfull isn't it?
I happen to agree that we need to stop kids from watching anything on TV that is rated greater then PG, get rid of the violent video games, and don't let them watch those music videos. At least until they are 18. Young minds are to easily impressed with what they see and hear. Rant done.

Preaching to the choir in this corner, brother.

Amen. Especially on the video games and sick rap music.

Heh.... this is funny.
I recently pissed off a whole bunch of folks on another forum for daring to suggest that anyone under 18 ( 21 would be better) should not be allowed on the internet, much less in a weapon-oriented site, without adult supervision. They didn't like me saying that the kids needed to learn about firearms and responsibility from their parents or other people who KNEW THEM, and were there with them, in person, instead of a bunch of strangers that didn't and weren't.

Hell, I even provided a couple of links to medical information on just how a kid's brain is different (undeveloped) from an adults, and how this difference affects judgment and rationalization.

In the end, it all fell on deaf ears, with me being the "bad guy" for daring to suggest that parents need to have control over their kids, and take responsibility for what those kids are exposed to.

Ah well.... it'll all work out, one way or the other, sooner or later.
