Parents Shot, Daughter Abducted (PA)

Lititz is a bunch of blissninny liberals who love their antique shops and the quaint stores that are way to expensive. 2 things I like that came out of Lititz are Me and the Wilbur Chocolate that is made there. The pretzels are ok but there are better. My Brother and his wife live thare and my parents and they are mildly blissful.

I'm interested to see what will come of that comment as well...

What I meant by that comment is now the anti's will have ammo to go after those 'dangerous' soft air guns, i.e. 'gateway guns'. :barf:

Pilot, not only are the parents lost, now, the entire family is destroyed.

All their other kids are now and will forevermore be orphans.

Not only that, but they will live with the knowledge that their sister, their 14-year-old spoiled, awful, selfish, bratty sister is half the reason why they will forevermore be orphans.

Yes, you are correct. This is an incredible tragedy for those kids. I hope they have some family close by.

I used to live in Lancaster, PA not far from Lititz. I actually got my pilots license in Lititz, the Lancaster airport is in Lititz, right off of 501. Its a middle class, rather sleepy community, but occasionaly these weird murders happen in and around there. If the daughter was an accomplis or knew the boy had a gun, she should fry too.

Am I the only one who noticed this story sounds vaguely familiar to another Borden murder?

Yes you must be.
The only similarities I see are that the parents are dead.

There also is nothing to point to this girl being involved with the planning or commission of these murders so far, other than conjecture and an apparent disdain for blond white girls

Lizzie was the only one implicated in the other Borden murders and it had nothing to do with love but was fueled by avarice

There are way too many unanswered questions to be blaming the parents or the girl right now

Not that that has ever stopped this board from judging anyone before

It doesn't say if he lived with his parents. 54 guns could be irrelevant . . . or could be an early-starting collector, also irrelevant. On the other hand, he may have had some "emotional" problems or issues with "anger management."

Irrelevant to you and me, yes....

When that's the title of the article, you can see how its made to sound.

I'm surprised they are releasing the name and picture of the minor girlfriend. I thought minors' information was not normally released like that.

They immediately release the names and pictures of kidnap victims otherwise it is sort of hard to find them.

For example, when that dude kidnapped those two girls in Palmdale, CA a few years back, their names and faces were everywhere. Then when the Kern County Sheriffs caught up to the guy and hosed him, they found the girls alive, discovered they were rape victims, then everyone stopped using their names and faces.

I am curious to see if this 18 year old had the "arsenal" to himself or if it was the family home. If my 18 year old shot someone and got my guns taken away, they better not let him out of jail. :cuss:

Hey ... they throw in plenty of factoids. Why - just check out the last paragraph in this news article:

"He was a really good guy," said Frederick, 23, a college student. "He was friendly and joked around. I considered him to be a good Christian — he brought his Bible and read it during breaks."
See? He was a really good guy who read his bible during breaks.

Must be the guns fault that all this went down.

Listed among the firearms were rifles and handguns. Ludwig lived with his parents in Lititz. His father is a hunter. On the home page of David Ludwig's personal Web site is a link to photos showing him disemboweling a deer.

Uhh... opposed to 'field dressing' a deer? And they are calling it an 'arsenal'.

Well they are certainly lost now. Very sad. Hope this "kid" gets the chair.

There hasn't been a "cooking lesson" at Rockview for a long time and he might not even get the needle because of his age. :barf:
