I picked up a couple road-killed deer (you need a possession permit from the MN DNR to do that) and put them out in our field ~150' from the dining room window with a Spypoint IR-6 attached to a nearby post. Within half a day, two eagles had found them, and I've got virtually hundreds of pix of them. I think that the two are a mated pair, because yesterday a third, larger one came along, and both of them went after him with amazing aerobatics.
We're hoping for some night animals, but so far none has found them.
