Good morning!
I am no Mosin expert, have a fella trying to sell me a Mosin 91/59 carbine, what are these things going for now with all numbers matching, very good condition, not sure if it is counter-bored... I am offering $175, if I decide I do not like it, can I at least get my money out of it?

Thanks all

If you don't like it, I'll give you more than $175 for it. I think they're going for somewhat more than that, but there aren't really that many changing hands right now so it's hard to nail down a price.

Matt

I sold mine over a year ago for $225 and it was a huge mistake. Buy it now our let me know where I can.

Buy it now no matter the price, as Mosin-Nagant prices are only going up. I have two M91/59s and I would never part with them.

Yeah, I agree $175 is a good price. I had a chance a couple of years ago for $150. I didn't and regret it. The carbines are a handy size and fun to shoot.

I got one dated 1943 and I will never part with it. It shoots quite well using Barnaul 203 gr SP which is very hard to find nowadays. But id be confident to have it around even in bear country.

M 91/59 and M44 with perfect bores are the one to have . Do away with counterbores if you can help it.

I just bought a 91/59 that has a PU scope mount and a donor bolt from an ex sniper for $300. It also came with the original bolt. All this was done by the previous owner so when I slip it into one of promag's archangel stocks I won't feel like a history murderer. I understand that having the PU mount put on probably destroyed the collector value but I still think it was a good deal. What do you guys think?
