Mosin Nagant I've Never Seen

Alright so I've tried very hard to identify this mosin rifle I just bought because I've never seen another like it. So far I've determined it's a Tula made in 1923, it has some form of Finnish origin since it has the SA in a box stamped on it. Now the weird things about it, it has a different front sight than any other mosin, it's missing the front sight and rear sight pieces and I can't see what replacement to use. The cleaning rod hole has be plugged up and the stock is made from two pieces without the handguard. I've got a few shots uploaded and I'm willing to upload more if anybody wants. It used to be a less than common post-revolution Tula M91 or converted dragoon that was likely captured in the Winter War. Sadly Bubba got his hands on it, bent the bolt, hacked the stock, removed the rear sight, added a ramp sight in front and then apparently lost interest in the project leaving gaping holes where the rear sight used to be and a lot of scrapes from tools. Sad all around but something might be made of it. You could probably restore the rear sight and see if you could calibrate it to a new front sight in that dovetail. Has it been properly re-crowned?
 
The bolt came bent, it has all matching serials and as for adding rear sights I don't know how they would go on this rifle. I think I'll have to go with a rail mount and some form of scope. Properly recrowned and has a beautiful bore despite the gunk build up else where. Seems it isn't worth much since bubba got to it. Do you happen to know what screwed into the front sight?
 
The hole in the ramp sight looks to be just the screw used to center the base, but it appears they locked the base down with solder(?) so it's not going to do much now. If it's locked on there then you could just slip a sight into the dovetail.
 
It's soldered on of some sort, if I could I'd slide it off but it's on there pretty sturdy(shot quite a few rounds through it over the weekend). Think it may still be worth more than the average post war Izzy mosin still though?
 
Thanks for all of your help cosmoline :) I think I'll actually keep it as my bug out mosin since it has good accuracy(for me) and is about as big as my little .22lr savage. As a sidenote that name probably gets a lot of remarks from anybody who has had to clean a mil surplus gun
 
"...Sadly Bubba got his hands on it..." Yep. Ravaged it too. Clean it up and put a scope on it for hunting.
"...Seems it isn't worth much..." Nope, but Mosins aren't terribly expensive to start with.
"...about as big as my little .22lr..." Must be a carbine. Muzzle flash and noise, not to mention the felt recoil, will be stout.
 
I wish bubba would've just used a cheap izzy for his project but oh well, this could've been worth much more than average if he hadn't tinkered with it. I've shot it and the recoil isn't so bad but after so many rounds I really feel it; the famed fireball is there too :)
