Theres nothing wrong with that Monte Carlo stock when you take the gun out hunting. It's much lighter. It's not like you butchered the original stock and you can always put it back in whenever you want.
 
In my eyes, any true collector value is diminished by the massive import marks and new serial numbers now placed prominantly on the receiver rings.
The guns are mismatched and cobbled together.
If you are collecting unusual receiver/barrel markings perhaps there is some interest.
Collecting as collector rifles, these things coming in are not all that.

As to that ATI stock,,,,er, everything ended up being wrong with it.
Poor fit, wandering zeros, poor recoil control compounded by a way too hard and ineffective recoil pad makes the standard military stock almost pleasant to use in comparison.
