Me again! I have a Mossberg 500 and a Winchester 1300 (I'm sure I will get an 870 soon enough). I bought a 3-point sling (OZE Products?) for the Mossy which included a sling adapter plate that's held securely by the mag tube...uh, nut? I swapped the sling over to the 1300 but had to use the TacStar sling adapter that clamps between the barrel and tube--which, under hard use, tends to slip a bit. The Mossy currently has Hush Stalker nylon sling swivels and a bandoleer-type sling, just for carrying.

What I'm thinking of doing is putting the plate and sling back on the Mossy and getting a single-point sling for the 1300--if I can find one. Anyone know who makes one, and would you recommend it? (Failing that, I'll just get another 3-pointer.) And on a wider scale: What sling do you have on your shotgun and why?

Thanks. And yes--I have searched the threads already. :)

I use standard QD studs and a variety of slings, including one military style strap. I'm behind the curve.

C'mon, Dave--Get Tactical.

Edit: Oh, yeah--I ordered the basic CQB Solutions 3-point sling from Lightfighter for the Winny.* I'll stick the OZE back on the Mossy. I considered a single-point sling but figured the 3-pointer would be a little more versatile. Maybe later.

*Is it annoying to say Winny and Mossy and shotty? Sounds like a stuffed animal collection. I can't wait for the next THR F2F: "I have a Mossy shotty!"

I have a regular end for my Win 1300 and I just got a 2 shot extension and I was wondering what is used to mount a swivel out front with the extension. I was considering takind the swivel out of the end cap that I took off, but the hole in the end of the extension is too big. Anybody got a spare barrel clamp and sling attachment.
