How does the rocoil compare to a winchester and a marlin? It's a good looking rifle, I have 2 64's but would trade one in a heartbeat for a marlin. I don't enjoy the 64's recoil.
The fact that it comes in a 16" barrel is all the better, I tend to like shorter carbines, my marlin.357 is my favorite lever (mostly do to size.)

I love my 20" blued 464...couldn't get a Winchester...so I got this instead. Not a big fan of Marlin's closed top receiver...

Is anyone making peep sights for the 464 yet? That's my preference on lever actions but checking the Lymann and Williams websites does not show anything listed for the Mossberg lever action.
