While bored last night I decided to marry my Mossberg 500 (home defense only) and a Neebo flashlight/red laser. I made the mount out of an old 30mm scope mount, a screw that fit the threaded magazine tube knob and a small piece of scrap metal that was used as a washer for the screw and mount. The mount and light are now Duracoated Extreme Tactical Gray, to match the magazine tube as closely as possible. The laser is actually in sight with the barrel. It was the part i could care less about but the laser is actually my favorite thing now, it seems to work great as it is mounted inside the center of the light between the led bulbs. I do not need an expensive or really bright light as it is only for home defense use. I figured this would work ina pinch and let me use parts I already had.. So the "Bubba Mount" works like a charm... I did use a small piece of foam between the barrel and light to keep from scratching the barrel.

To be honest I think it is a 10-32 thread in side the magazine cap. I just happened to have it laying around my shop, along with the broken scope mount(broken bolt for the picatinny rail). It worked out really good though.
