My girlfriend got me a speedfeed forend for my Mossberg 500 because I don't like the block-like shape of the factory one.
The problem is the forearm is too long for the forearm tube.

I'd like to know when Mossberg used the different length forearm tubes and in which models and how any of you got around this problem if you had short forearms.

If anyone has the Speed Feed 1 stock I'd like to know how the LOP compares to the factory stock.

I can answer the forend question. Mossberg is not very careful with their parts bins and there are two different length of action bar assemblies and forends that are used interchangably. It makes manufacturers crazy. Check with Speedfeed and see if they have an adapter. If not, call Hogue at 805-239-1440 and buy theirs.

What CaCruisin said... You can find the parts on Brownells under "action slide tube assembly" and "action slide tube nut".
