Choke tubes..

The Mossberg 535 ATS includes the ACCU-SET choke tubes ( all 3 )... full, modified and improved cylinder choke tubes.. what's the difference?

Improved cylinder = slight constriction (.010")
Modified = moderate constriction (.020")
Full = more constriction (.035")

I couldn't find this information on Mossberg's site, but this is from Briley.

More constriction means the shot pattern is smaller. Improved Cylinder is wide, Modified is narrower, and Full is most narrow.

This is very general, but shotgunning especially with regard to patterning is more of an art than a science.

Check out Dave McCracken's excellent Patterning 101

If you pattern with each of the chokes, it will become immediately apparent to you what they do.
