Anyone had any experience with this shotgun? They look really nice and i am kind of curious about them. Any info will be much appreciated.
 
The 590 is a good solid gun, if you prefer it to the 870 then it's one of the best alternatives available. As to Hans Vang, he has an established and well earned reputation for doing good work. His internal mods to shotgun barrels do indeed work in improving patterns, I'd as soon reserve judgement on the porting but lots of people swear by it. I don't own one of his barrels, btw- I've always settled for extending forcing cones and havng choke tubes installed. Keep saying I ought to try one, but haven't so far.

Mossberg M590A1

I have one with the Vang Comp ($255), ghost ring sight, Knoxx SpecOps stock and tactical sling. Also has the Houge OverMolded pistol grip and forend. Recoil is best described as "pussy cat". My wife loves to shoot it and she weighs about
120 pounds wet.

Tight groups with OO out to 35 yards and accurate with slugs as far out as my eyes will allow me. Just like Mr. Vang advertises.

I don't want to really know what I have tied up in this gun but I like it!
